what makes us different?

seven roots is a worker-owned group of career grocery retailers. Our work in the grocery and hospitality industries spans over three decades and hundreds of stores. We’ve worked in grocery aisles, behind coffee counters, at registers, and served on boards, leadership teams, and working groups. We help build stores, strategies, kitchens, menus, brands, and processes.

Our team is into a business that feeds communities. We’re committed to food justice, and partnering with folks to create solutions that empower operators. We’ve worked with organizations nationwide (and beyond) to help folks tackle their projects, challenges, and goals.

The seven roots team is stationed throughout the US, and our work is fully collaborative. With every project, we bring the collective experience of the whole crew, and our varied experiences and resources. We’re dedicated to supporting clients and one another and making it fun to team up.
